Description
Before you set off, don't forget to print out the discovery booklet, which is essential for this walk. It's also available for €1 from your nearest tourist office.
Go to the departure station opposite the Musée des Mariniers.
Then follow the signs on the ground. Numbered stations indicate a stopping point, with explanations in the discovery booklet.

- Go down the few steps to the platform where the 1st station is located, refer to the booklet. Turn right to follow the platform and see the 2nd station, refer to the booklet. Continue straight on for 280m. Turn right up the small road.
- Cross the rue de Saumur and take the Chemin de la Cordière opposite. Discover the 3rd station, refer to the booklet. Follow the path to the end, then turn right onto rue des Pelouses, right again onto rue de l'Aumônerie, and right again onto Cité des Pelouses. Reach rue de Saumur again.
- Turn left. At Mairie level, you'll find the 4th station, refer to the booklet. Turn left on rue de l'église and find the 5th station at the church, refer to the booklet. Continue straight ahead. At the intersection, you'll see the 6th station, see booklet.
- Turn left onto rue des Moulins and follow it for 500m. The 7th station is at the end of the street, refer to the booklet. Turn right on rue Menier for 250m, then right on rue Chèvre.
- At the traffic circle, turn right into rue de Saint-Nicolas. At the crossroads, turn left into rue de la Perruche. Turn right to cross the sandy parking lot. Turn right on rue de la Mine, then left on rue Saint-Pierre. Follow this to the main road, rue de Tours. Turn right onto rue de Tour and you'll see the 8th station, refer to the booklet. After the town hall, turn left to return to the starting station.
