- Ile Bouchard
The bridges, emblems of the town, are the reason for the union in 1832 of the communes of Saint-Gilles (to the north) and Saint-Maurice (to the south). The Saint-Maurice district houses one of the oldest Romanesque buildings in France: the Saint-Léonard Priory, built around 1067. Nearby, the former station houses the Museum of Local Traditions.
