The Brain-sur-Allonnes forest is full of stories to tell. Domestication of the forest, exploitation of the subsoil, use of tree sap... People have always left their mark. From prehistory to the present day, the trail invites you to travel through time.

Follow the signposts and try to discover the secrets of the robinia. Continue your journey through the ages and discover the living quarters of our ancestors or the ruins of a fortified house, the last witnesses of the Middle Ages. Finish your visit by imagining the forest of tomorrow...

Description

From the Sacé Chevalerie parking lot, go to the starting station on the little road called "la Crecillonnière", which leads to the parking lot.
Follow the red arrows on the wooden posts from station to station.
  1. Take the path under the trees to the left of the starting station. Find the 1st station at the road. Cross the road to continue across the road into the forest.
  2. Navigate from station to station in the forest using the signposts.
  3. Return to the small road known as "la Crecillonnière" and turn right to return to the parking lot.
