The charming village of Le Puy-Notre-Dame is dotted with beautiful vineyards. On your way back, don't hesitate to enter the collegiate church (12th-13th century). This Plantagenet Gothic masterpiece is a place of pilgrimage to the Holy Belt of the Virgin, a relic brought back from the Crusades by the Dukes of Aquitaine.
Vines have been grown here since time immemorial. The vineyards of Puy-Notre-Dame and neighboring communes are the largest in the Saumur region.

All along the trail, the "Régalade", a figure created by a sculptor and visible on one of the stalls of the Collegiate Church, introduces you to viticulture and human know-how.

Cross the town hall park and continue into the heart of the vineyard. The first station invites you to discover the grape varieties grown here. Follow the path to learn how to prune vines and recognize their flowers. Then answer the True-False questions at stations 6 and 7.
