Between religious buildings, vineyards and charming villages, discover a little-known part of the Bouchard countryside by bike!
As you cycle through Panzoult, you'll discover the Cave de la Sibylle, where you can visit and taste the wines. Further on, you'll see the Roches Tranchelion, one of the finest examples of 16th-century religious art in Touraine.

Description

  1. L'Île-Bouchard
    The bridges, which are the emblems of the town, brought together the parishes of Saint Gilles (in the north) and Saint Maurice (in the south) in 1832. 
  2. Panzoult
    With its 338 hectares of vineyards, Panzoult is one of the main areas producing AOP-certified Chinon wine.
  3. Le château et la collégiale des Roches Tranchelion
    The west façade of the collegiate church, founded in 1527, is one of the  nest examples of 16th century religious art in Touraine.
  4. Crissay-sur-Manse (Listed as one the most beautiful villages in France).
    At the top end of the village, admire the magnificent white tuffa-stone houses with their square turrets and ornate mullioned windows.
  5. Crouzilles
    Merovingian sarcophagi were discovered during work on the apse of the Church of Notre Dame (12th and 13th centuries).
