Description
- Château de Vaugrignon
The Château Vaugrignon occupies a picturesque hilltop site on the right bank of the River Indre. It was radically restored at the end of the last century to its current appearance, but the original building dates back to the 15th century. The park was designed by the famous landscape architect Eugène Bühler. - Les Cressonières and Lavoir de Nantilly
Created in 1905 by Jules Barateau on the Varidaine path, once used by pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. - AOC Touraine - Noble Joué vineyards
Touraine - Noble Joué is an appellation d'origine contrôlée wine produced in the communes of Chambray-Les-Tours, Esvres, Joué-Les-Tours, Larçay and Saint-Avertin in Indre-et-Loire. It's a rosé wine made mainly from Pinot and Meunier grapes. - Loge de vigne

Built in the 16th century, La Dorée passed into the hands of Count Odart in the early 19th century. Mayor of the commune from 1818 to 1826, he became a great expert in oenology and counted among his regular visitors Honoré de Balzac, Alfred de Vigny, Paul-Louis Courier and the famous physician Bretonneau. Later, from 1910 to 1911, the famous Mata-Hari stayed at the château. - La Hardellière and its wells
Built in the Middle Ages, Esvres boasts around thirty of these wells. They were maintained by families who came to draw water for their daily needs. - La Hardellière and its wells
- Prieuré St-Pierre de Vontes
Built in the 15th century, it was part of the Cormery Abbey. The entrance porch, still visible, was fortified with a moat and drawbridge. It is built into the hillside of a wide-open meander of the river.
